Information: connect - how to enter the world of Nemesis

Description:
There are a number of different ways to connect to Nemesis:

Besides the MUD Web Client https://nemesis.de/connect/client/
(playing Nemesis from your browser) you can connect via your
	favourite MUD client.

Here are the technical details: encrypted (SSL/TLS) and plain
(no SSL/TLS). Here is a list of ports (TCP/IP):

	Gaming ports:
Port 23 plain - the "old" default port for 'telnet'.
Port 2000	plain - the traditional port to connect to Nemesis.
Port 2005	plain - an alternative to port 2000.
Port 2020	encrypted - via SSL/TLS secured connections.
Port 20000	encrypted - an alternative to the secure port 2020.

Nemesis offers different ports providing the same services to get
through firewalls and/or port filters on your side.

Special ports for wizards/coders (code upload and download and
		special development):
Port 21 FTP - standard port for FTP (not encrypted), see
			'help ftp' (wizards' help only).
	Port 443	HTTPS - the Nemesis MudFM https://nemesis.de/files/ ,
encrypted, see 'help mudfm' (wizards' help only).
Port 1999	MTP - see 'help mtp' (wizards' only), no encryption.
Port 2001	Nemesis test MUD "NemTest" - for development only,
plain - no encrypion. NO gaming!
Port 2021	Nemesis test MUD "NemTest" - encrypted connections.

Note:
If you lose your connection to Nemesis, especially while you are
idle (that is to say: doing nothing), see also 'help keepalive' and
	'help set'.

This document only is a quick reference card. You get more details
how to connect here: https://nemesis.de/connect/ and a list of MUD
	clients etc. here: https://nemesis.de/download/ .

Connections via the MUD Web Client are fully secured and encrypted
	via SSL/TLS.
