Adventurers' Help: put

Command: put - puts an item into a container

Description:
	You put an item into a container, e.g. a bag or chest.

	You also can put "item number X" into a container - or also put
	an item in "container number Y" - see Examples: below and 'help
	numbering'.

Syntax:
	put <item> in <container>
	put <item> into <container>

Examples:
	put sword in bag
	put sword into bag
	put knife 4 in bag
	put jacket 3 into bag 2

Note:
	Putting items into a container you have, enables you to carry more.

	'put <item> onto <container>' or 'put <item> on <container>' also
	works and sometimes this sounds much better.

	You can also use 'drop <item> into <container>' - see 'help drop'.
